I have a Japanese made reproduction if McCartneys 1964 Epiphone Texan, and it rivals my 510 Taylor and Collings OM2H for a oerfect blend of picking clarity and strum warmth (the Collings is too warm strumming but picks slightly better, the Taylor is very bright, a bit too muddy strumming) and considering the Taylor is $2500 and Collings $4500, Id pay inbetween for this superior daily player and song creator without a 2nd thought.
